About Drata
Drata (San Diego, founded 2020) is a compliance automation platform. Its third-party risk management module brings vendor inventory, risk tiers, assessments and evidence together, and leans into AI-assisted review: AI-generated assessment criteria, one-click assessments that collect documents from vendor trust centres, AI summaries of SOC reports and questionnaires, a risk register and executive reporting. Vendor lists can sync from procurement and contract-management systems. Pricing is by demo.
How to choose
The two can work side by side. Drata runs your wider compliance programme; Vendorapp holds the vendor register, screening and contracts, and you export its reports into Drata as evidence for the vendor control. Vendorapp does not have a direct Drata integration today.
What Vendorapp covers

Common questions
If you only need the vendor-risk part of Drata, a dedicated vendor management platform such as Vendorapp covers the register, risk ratings, sanctions screening, contracts and audit evidence, with published pricing and a free plan. If you need Drata’s wider compliance automation too, the realistic alternatives are other compliance suites such as Vanta or Secureframe.
Drata does not publish prices; pricing is by demo, so the cost depends on your plan and quote.
Not for Drata as a whole. Drata automates a whole compliance programme; Vendorapp covers vendor management and third-party risk only. Vendorapp replaces Drata’s vendor-risk module if that is what you need, and otherwise works alongside it.
Yes. Teams manage vendors in Vendorapp and export its vendor register, assessments and monitoring records as evidence in Drata. There is no direct integration between the two today.
